Discover our history
Founded in 1927 as a mechanical workshop for the production of “colour dividers for the production of cement tiles”, around 1944 MARIO CROCI & FIGLI started manufacturing the first moulds for the manual production of concrete pipes.
Around 10 years later, in 1954, the company filed a patent for the “support device equipped with rotatory and axial movement” for rotor-compression machines for the manufacture of various models of ROTOPRES MC concrete pipes to be exported all over the world. In 1966 the company produced the first C.I. 400 mixer as well as the first concrete production stations. A few years later, in 1973 it became the first company to introduce the Mach 3 vibro-press machine for the manufacture of concrete pipes with a maximum height of 1000 mm.
In the following years, the company introduced the Mach 2 vibro-press machine for the manufacture of concrete pipes with a maximum height of 2000 or 2500 mm first, followed by machines Mach 3/100 and Mach 3/100T with conveyor concrete feeding.
Between the 1980s and 1990s, MARIO CROCI & FIGLI introduced more important innovations with the first Mach 3/121 machine for the manufacture of concrete pipes with a maximum height of 1000 mm and, the following year, model Mach 3/122 for the manufacture of concrete pipes with a maximum height of 2000 or 2500 mm, then model Mach 3/152 TX with a patented vibration device for the manufacture of concrete pipes with a maximum height of 2000 or 3000 mm and, finally model Mach 3/151 for the manufacture of concrete pipes with a maximum height of 1000 mm.
